Live recording of an expanded cinema performance, Gravity Spells, at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, CA. Gravity Spells was a month long performance series curated by John Davis highlighting Expanded Cinema and New Music in the Bay Area. Meyer sound provided a 4.2 speaker array for the performances. This audio is part of the piece “Kaika: Invocation” is a collaboration with filmmaker and programmer, Tooth (of Black Hole Cinema and Arc). The piece is a multichannel 16mm film and slide projection film with multichannel audio score. Room recording via a Zoom H4 recorder placed in the middle of the space.
