SAT. 3/11 PLATO AND TZARA À LA FILMSTRIP + LO-TECH Believe it or not, Edgar Um and J Fox of Pittsburgh's Future Illogical Association have created 35mm filmstrip versions of 2 theatre classics, Plato's Symposium and Tzara's The First Celestial Adventure of Mr. Anti-pyrine, Fire-Extinguisher, with music from members of Orgone. PLUS Lori Surfer + other dead-media artists!Lorax, nd historical street-action footage. Show starts at 8:30 pm, admission is $5.

SAT. 3/18 ANNE MCGUIRE PRESENTS JOHNNY CASH, ET AL. Frisco siren AM revives this extremely rare 16mm record of primo Johnny Cash Ridin' the Rails, a sort of singing documentary about American train culture. This 50-min. joyride is preceded by a boxcar-load of rail and country-music clips, including Tex Ritter, Elvis Presley, and the Collins Kids. BONUS Ed Crouse croons! Show starts at 8:30 pm, admission is $5.
