Originally commissioned for the SF Bay Area’s Gravity Spells series of inter-media collaborations, this single extended montage of archival material, sourced from found 16mm science films, is here married with Maggi Payne’s Black Ice/Static soundtrack. Fugitive themes rise and fall over the course of the industrial effluent, as liminal movements in a larger turn from the natural world towards its control and exploitation...
though Nature gets its revenge in the end.
